PT Cruiser Rack & Pinion Replacement How To Drop Subframe the Easy way & how to Measure Toe

Today We are sharing on a PT Cruiser Rack & Pinion Replacement How To Drop the Subframe the Easy way & how to Measure Toe 2001-2010. We have a 2005 GT, We had to drop the Subframe down to remove the Rack & Pinion, We did this the simplest way, By removing the (6 24mm) Subframe bolts, Lower Torque Mount, (4 14mm) Rack mounting bolts, 2 Power steering lines (18mm) (1) Connector from the Steering Pressure sensor & the Roll Pin the connects the Steering gear to the Pinion. Overall this job should take between 2 -3 hours to complete. Took us a little longer since We cleaned the undercarriage while the Rack was out. We also show how to set the toe While replacing the Outer Tie rod ends, two different methods to measure the Toe so that The alignment isn’t too far off.
